A LOVER’S PARADISE

“Wet weather did not dampen the spirits of couples on Valentines Day” said Peter Padman, General Manager of Le Quadri Hotel. With the continued & inflating numbers of Covid cases, the hotel planned a splendid setting amidst the panoramic view of the Kuala Lumpur Skyline. Unfortunately, at the eleventh hour, the skies opened and down came the ‘showers of blessings’. The 15 couples were then ushered to The Quad at Le Quadri Hotel.

Guest Service Agents in their floral sarongs welcomed the couples with a refreshing mocktail of juices, topped with brunoise of apples & mint. The meal began with a mesclun salad with cheese tortelinni, slices of warm shitake -mushroom, parmesan croutons tossed with an olive oil & date balsamic dressing with sundried tomatoes. This was followed by a Seafood Chowder.

Couples had a choice for their main course as they could opt for either Lamb Loin with mustard and basil oil with a mushroom ragout. The other option was Chicken Roulade with turkey ham and Emmental cheese & whipped potato.

Being Valentines, the lovers looked forward to the dessert which was a Chocolate Hazelnut cake with a rich ganache coating and drizzled with salted caramel – it was indeed the favourite of all!

As a finale, thanks to the weather that changed to clear skies, each couple was treated to a romantic buggy ride to the next building where the spectacular Sky Lounge is located.
